My garden gnome was looking a little peaked, so I spray painted him metallic copper…next I want to buy one of those huge resin deer and paint it to match. My hubby thinks I’m nuts. (Taken with instagram)
Halloween 2008, my best friend and I decided to step out of the teenager-girl-Halloween-slut trait, and step forward to a goofy-fun approach. We each dressed as Garden Gnomes. We were decked out in luxurious beards, our dad’s clothing, wizard hats, little elf shoes, and huge pillows under our shirts. We received many comments and a bunch of laughter from all the houses we went to! Best Halloween EVER!

My gnome collection (not all of it, just the gnome statues that aren’t “seasonal”) before I had to pack it all up for the big move. The hubby and I are moving to Alaska in a few weeks.
